The Minor Injury Centers (MICs) were created to offer rapid and quality care for non-life threatening injuries that would otherwise be seen in the ER. Each center has also evolved special services to assist the local needs of its medical center.
IMPORTANT: The Minor Injury Center is not for emergencies. If you think you have an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest Kaiser Permanente Hospital. If you are unsure whether or not you have an emergency, you can call your the call center for advice. If a Minor Injury Center is not available in your area, please also contact the call center or go to the nearest Kaiser Permanente Hospital.
