Thanks for visiting my home page! You’ll find plenty of information pertaining to patient education and preventative health. It is a privilege to be a physician, trusted with people’s health. I enjoy helping my patients feel better about their health and appearance.

I like practicing at TPMG because of the emphasis on education and on how to teach patients to better care for themselves. I appreciate the quality of my colleagues and their outstanding academic backgrounds. Furthermore, there are advantages to being in a large group practice, allowing discussion of challenging cases. I enjoy the diverse cultural backgrounds of fellow physicians as well as our patients. I help monitor the quality of care for our South San Francisco dermatology patients. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology.

I was born on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I have one sister, Heather, who is twelve years older. Both my parents and sister still ive on Cape Cod. I enjoy hiking, running, following world politics and living in Northern California. I speak French, which I majored in while at college.

My advice to members is: 1) Look at the preventative skin care outlined in the Healthwise Handbook 2) Write down questions before your appointment and bring/write down all of your medicines. 3) Consider a full skin exam, especially on your back and areas you can’t see. You may have a worrisome spot there that you were not even aware of. 4 Visit the American Academy of Dermatology for more detailed information on skin conditions by clicking on the link in the left margin (www.aad.org).

As a Dermatologist, I take appointments by referral. If you do not already have a referral, please call our appointment/advice line at (650) 742-2100 to make an appointment with a general practitioner. To make an appointment in our sub-specialty department, please call (650) 742-2060. My medical Assistant in the department is Sonya Gonzales.

Our goal at Kaiser Permanente is to be your health plan of choice and deliver the quality medical care our members deserve. Thank you again for choosing Kaiser Permanente.

Practice Philosophy/Approach
