Why I Joined Kaiser

I joined Kaiser in 1989 because I was looking for a practice where my only concern would be patient care -- not managing a business or being concerned about insurance forms.

My Credentials

Medical school Ohio State University College of Medicine, Columbus, OH
Internship Riverside Methodist Hospitals, Columbus, OH
Residency Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda, CA

Why I'm Still Here and Thriving

I have enjoyed my career here for many reasons. One of the best parts of my job is meeting and caring for our very diverse and interesting patient population. Also, as our department has grown over the years, we have been able to hire new anesthesiologists from different backgrounds keeping us up-to-date with the swiftly changing technology involved with our specialty and its ever-changing scope.

On A Personal Note…

Living in the Sacramento/Sierra foothills area has been a wonderful experience for my family. We thoroughly enjoy hiking, bicycling and kayaking in this glorious outdoor environment.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
