My Specialty and Why I Chose It

I am a retina specialist and I am involved in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of retinal diseases (retina is the back of the eye, which acts like a film in a camera). I chose to practice this specialty as I find the retinal disease management to be challenging and satisfying.

I have a special interest in the management of difficult retinal detachment and diabetes-related retinal problems.

I have two wonderful children with whom I participate in many outdoor activities such as running, biking and hiking.
