Have questions about your medications?

Welcome to the Folsom Adult Medicine Department and my practice. I am pleased to have this opportunity to participate in your healthcare and thought you might be interested in learning more about me and my background.

My Qualifications

I received my medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine, and I completed both my internship and residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Clara, California. After my residency, I joined the staff in Santa Clara for one year before spending three years in the United States Air Force. In 1995, upon completion of my active duty, I returned to The Permanente Medical Group. I am currently an active member of The American College of Physicians.

Receiving Your Healthcare From Kaiser Permanente

I believe this is the best medical group in California. Kaiser Permanente offers a large multi-specialty group with fewer barriers to trading information across specialties and the opportunity for physicians to practice medicine without the administrative concerns. For its members, Kaiser Permanente provides comprehensive healthcare.

My Healthcare Practice

I chose primary versus specialty care because I enjoy the opportunities to evaluate and treat a variety of medical issues. I enjoy the challenge of making difficult diagnoses.

My Outside Interests

If I am not working, you can probably find me spending time with my family, flying remote control airplanes, going boating, working on home projects, or just playing music.

Be sure to visit the New Kaiser Permanente Website for additional information regarding appointments, prescriptions, health education classes, and other health related topics.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
