Welcome to the Folsom Adult Medicine Department and my practice. I am pleased to have this opportunity to participate in your healthcare and thought you might be interested in learning more about me and my background.

My Qualifications

I received my medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine, and I completed both my internship and residency at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Clara, California. After my residency, I joined the staff in Santa Clara for one year before spending three years in the United States Air Force. In 1995, upon completion of my active duty, I returned to The Permanente Medical Group. I am currently an active member of The American College of Physicians.

I believe this is the best medical group in California. Kaiser Permanente offers a large multi-specialty group with fewer barriers to trading information across specialties and the opportunity for physicians to practice medicine without the administrative concerns. My Healthcare Practice

I chose primary versus specialty care because I enjoy the opportunities to evaluate and treat a variety of medical issues. I enjoy the challenge of making difficult diagnoses.

My Outside Interests

If I am not working, you can probably find me spending time with my family, flying remote control airplanes, going boating, working on home projects, or just playing music.
