Family Medicine

I am a Family Medicine physician working in the Adult Medicine department at the Riverside Clinic in Roseville. When I first thought of going to medical school I always envisioned being in Family Medicine. I have always enjoyed having an established group of patients who I get get to know well and who can know me well. I enjoy taking care of a wide variety of problems whether it be an acute injury or helping someone to manage their diabetes.

All aspects of Family Medicine are of interest to me but I have a strong interest in Sports Medicine.

I believe strongly in evidence based medicine and preventive medicine. I believe in educating my patients on their medical concerns.

My Career at Kaiser Permanente

I have been a part of Kaiser Permanente since my internship and have worked as a staff physician since 1999. I have worked in Southern California, Colorado and have now decided to make Northern California my permanent home. I have enjoyed working for Kaiser Permanente as a high quality of care is provided for patients. A strong emphasis is placed on preventive medicine, evidence based medicine and allowing physicians to provide the care the physician thinks is needed.

Biography

After completing medical school my wife and I moved to Riverside California where I completed my residency. If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
