Welcome to My Internet Home Page

Welcome to my home page. I appreciate the time you are investing in knowing more about your health professional. I hope upon reading this, you will know a little more about me and not just another person in a white coat.

About Me

I completed my undergraduate studies in Physical Therapy in the Philippines in 1990 and soon after that, I moved to the United States. I have always believed in personal improvement and the continued pursuit of excellence, so I went back to school to obtain my master of Health Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis, Indianapolis, IN. Recently, so as to expand my horizons, I went to California State University Stanislaus for my master degree in Public Administration.

In 2000, I was certified as a clinical specialist in geriatrics. I also have special interest in neurology, acute care and home health.

Though my work gives me professional fulfillment, personally I find it enjoyable in engaging other cultures and traveling. It still fills me with awe waking up in a foreign city with the anticipation of adventure.

My Philosophy of Care

As a physical therapist, I believe in a simple philosophy - treating everyone with respect and dignity. I treat my clients the way I want my loved ones to be treated. I believe that patients have to be empowered to take charge of their care. The relationship should be a partnership, not a dictatorship. I find it gratifying and challenging in treating various diagnoses. Life is good and I would like people to enjoy it. I want to do my share in helping them continue to ‘thrive’.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
