Welcome to my home page...

"I strive to provide excellent care with compassion and respect for patient autonomy. I emphasize patient education and prevention strategies."

Hello and thank you for visiting my home page. In visiting this website, I would like to share a little bit about myself.

I graduated from the University of California in San Diego, California with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. I received my medical degree from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. Then I went on to complete my Ob/Gyn residency at Kaiser Permanente Foundation Hospital in Los Angeles, California.

I speak limited Spanish. My medical interests include general obstetrics and gynecology, teen health & patient education. When I am not assisting patients, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and our Maltese dog, Cozmo.

Please feel free to browse through my links as there is very important health information listed. In addition, we aim to help you take care of yourself in the best possible way. Please let me know how we can do this together.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
