About Me

I’ve worked in the private sector, in community mental health programs, with forensic patients and in mental health hospitals since 1999. I currently work in the Department of Psychiatry for Kaiser Sacramento as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the Crisis Team.

The Crisis Team in the Department of Psychiatry provides treatment and intervention for psychological emergencies. Our clinicians work on a multi-disciplinary team that is made up of physicians, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and marriage family therapists. We provide treatment and intervention at Sacramento, Morse Avenue and Roseville Parkway Out-Patient Clinics, the Roseville and Sacramento Emergency Departments and the Roseville and Sacramento in-patient medicine units.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Sacramento State University. I’ve been licensed since 2003.

I spend most of my free time with my family, but my hobbies include exercising, the study of martial arts, sports, my animals and movies. The main reason that I chose Kaiser is that being a social worker for the department of psychiatry gives me a wonderful opportunity to help people and make a positive difference in their lives.
