Welcome To My Internet Home Page

Welcome to my home page. I hope that the information you find here is helpful to you and your family.

Why did I want to be a Clinical Health Educator

I enjoy teaching preventative care that will help you to improve your quality of life. My true passion is teaching prenatal classes and providing some advices so that patients will be successful during breastfeeding. I find it very important to educate patients on how to avoid complications during and after pregnancy.

I enjoy teaching people about their bodies and how to take care of them at special moments like pregnancy and breastfeeding because this is a special time so that they may live a healthful life.

Why did I choose to Practice in Kaiser Permanente?

I joined Kaiser Permanente because I believe in empowering patients through education. I enjoy my practice here very much because I have great colleagues whom I respect and enjoy being with, and as a group, it has a tremendous amount of knowledge in the field of Preventative Care.

Resources and technology available at Kaiser Permanente have allowed me to stay current in my field, and to continually expand my knowledge and scope of practice.

My Education Background

I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree at Midwifery at National University of San Marcos Lima, Peru. I am now a Lactation Educator Counselor. My professional affiliations include member of International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA) and member of Obstetrics College of Peru.

Philosophy of Care

I look forward to ensure that our services meet your needs and expectations. The Health Education classes that we offered are very valuable. I strive to provide the best possible service which our members deserve. I offer each member as much time as needed to explore their issues and answer questions they bring to the classes or appointments. Family is very important to me and I always enjoy having spouses or friends attending the class or appointment and receive the knowledge to support the moms.

More About Me

When I am away from the medical center, I enjoy traveling, dancing, and spending lots of time with my family doing outdoor activities. I speak both English and Spanish fluently.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.
