About Me
I grew up mainly in Green Bay, Wisconsin and discovered the glorious life in California in my 20's. After a break to freeze in Vermont for my Medical School and Residency training; two young children, a Miniature Pinscher dog, two cockatiels, and I have migrated to the East Bay and love it. I was lucky enough to join the Radiology group here in Oakland (and Richmond) in 2003 and hope to stay until I retire.
My areas of special interest include ultrasound, especially fetal ultrasound and women's imaging. I have had the privilege to train as a fellow at UCSF with some of the top Radiologists in the field.
My personal interests include knitting, reading, painting, walking and enjoying my growing children. Working at Kaiser allows me to enjoy a thrilling, rewarding and challenging career with a phenomenal group of fellowship-trained colleagues, as well as the time to enjoy my personal interests.
Besides my love for Radiology and computers, I have fallen in love with Italy, especially Roma! When my busy life allows, I plan to return again and again.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
