Welcome to my practice. I am pleased to have this opportunity to participate in your healthcare and thought you might be interested in learning more about me and my background.

My Qualifications

I received my medical degree from Kabul University in Afghanistan and completed my residency with Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia. Prior to my residency, I spent four years doing cardiology/ischemia research at the University of California, San Francisco. I have worked for the Permanente Medical Group since 1997.

I was drawn to Kaiser Permanente because of the stability of the practice, the superb care delivered to its members, and the wonderful patients. As a primary care physician, I am directly involved in patient care on a daily basis and gain much satisfaction in witnessing the results of this involvement.

My Outside Interests

In my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball, fishing, and martial arts. In addition to English, I also speak fluent Farsi, Pashtu, and Urdu.
