My Specialty and Why I Chose It

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner working in Women's Health. This gives me the ability to work in a more focused area while still using my family practice back ground to assist you in maintaining and improving your health.

My Practice Philosophy

I believe my main role is to listen to your questions and concerns in order to understand what is important to you about your health. This communication gives me great satisfaction in my work. My nonjudgmental manner generally makes this comfortable and enjoyable. I bring a knowledge base about body and health that I try to share whenever possible.

My Credentials

MSN California State University – Sonoma 1991

My Tenure with Kaiser Permanente

I joined Kaiser Permanente in June of 2006 and have become a part of a great team in Women's Health.

Why I Like Practicing Medicine at Kaiser Permanente

I very much appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow in such a research based and caring environment. Our team of specialists are always available to consult with and help direct your care when needed.

Professional Interests & Affiliations

I am certified with American Nurses Credentialing Center and have my masters degree in Nursing from Sonoma State University.

On a Personal Note. . .

My family and I enjoy a country home in the foothills which needs constant attention. Actively parenting young children also keeps us very busy. Three dogs and a bird make it a full house.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
