Welcome to my home page!

I am pleased to offer this web site as a means to provide helpful medical information for my patients, as well as an opportunity for you to learn more about me. I hope that through this medium I will be able to better serve you with the most current information, useful handouts, and helpful web links.

I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and medical group here at Kaiser Permanente, and I hope that we can always provide the highest quality of care and service to you.

Outside of work, my husband, Dr. Paul Johnson, and I keep busy with our two children. My hobbies include hiking, gardening, reading and needlepoint.

Preparing for your appointment:

  • In order to make sure that we address your concerns please make a list before your visit.
  • If you take medications please bring a list, or bring all your bottles to the appointment.

How to reach me between appointments:

  • You may leave a message for me through the Call Center. I will try my best to get back to you on the same day, but please note that I work part time and some of my duties include work in the hospital and my messages are not checked daily.
  • For non-urgent matters please feel free to send me a nemail though this home page.
  • We now have telephone appointments for non-urgent matters as well, if this meets your needs.
  • Please contact the pharmacy directly if you need a medication refilled.

Your comments and suggestions are always welcome, and I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment. Please note the above schedule might change based on my hospital duty and different committee duties.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
