Lorna L. Del Rosario, PT Department of Rehabilitation Services

Welcome to Physical Therapy at Kaiser Santa Clara!

I would like to share some background information about myself. I graduated in 1997 from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. After passing the boards there, I came to the United States and received my California license in 1998. I joined the physical therapy staff at Kaiser Permanente in January 2006, and I speak Tagalog fluently.

I have taken numerous continuing education courses to enhance my skills in patient care, especially in orthopedics. I have completed a year long Orthopedic Manual Therapy Course and an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) study module on Pediatric Physical Therapy. I am currently a member of the Orthopedics and Pediatrics sections of the APTA.

When I’m not at work, I’m busy playing with my toddler-daughter. I like scrap booking and reading anything I can get my hands on. I also enjoy bike riding with my husband. In the future, after having our second baby, I’m planning to try rock climbing and boxing.

I look forward to meeting with you during your physical therapy appointment! Please feel free to contact me anytime at (408) 851-1454 if you have any questions or concerns.

An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
