About me:

I am the oldest of 6 children and was raised in the Bay Area. I earned my bachelor's degree in biological sciences at UC Irvine and my medical degree at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Florida. During my time away from home, I had the opportunity to travel to many countries including Venezuela, New Zealand, and Costa Rica (where I learned medical Spanish). After 9 years of being away from the Bay Area, I am excited to return to work at Kaiser Oakland.

I was drawn to the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology because there is never a dull moment. It is one of the few specialties that can incorporate so many aspects of medicine. I enjoy delivering babies, performing surgeries, and most importantly, being able to provide care for my patients in so many stages of their lives. I am very happy to be a part of the Kaiser Oakland family where we truly work as a team to make sure our patients receive the best care possible.

Besides my interests in women's health, I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, baking, and snowboarding. Thanks for taking the time to visit my homepage!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
