Welcome to My Home Page !
I was born in Mexico and immigrated to the U.S as a child. My first language was Spanish, but I am fluent in both Spanish and English. After high school, I enrolled at Fresno City College as a pre-nursing student.
After I graduated from Fresno State University, with a bachelor of science in nursing, I attended medical school at the University of Iowa. It was there that I developed an appreciation for the beautiful, snowless Central Valley of California. After graduation I came back to the Golden State, and did my residency in Family Practice at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield.
I worked in an underserved clinic in Porterville for two years before joining the Kaiser Permanente's Fresno Emergency Department in 2001. After working in the Emergency Room for four years, I joined the Kaiser Permanente's Selma Medical Offices as a primary care physician.
Practice Philosophy
I believe that we, as physicians, must at all times give our patients 100% of our efforts, always paying attention to details, listening to the patients, because they will always tell us what is really wrong. I look forward to meeting you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
