About Me
I received my BA in Psychology at the University of Rochester in 1972. My Master's Degree and Ph.D in Psychology is from California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego Campus, 1977.
I am licensed by the California Board of Psychology. I have a great interest in ADHD and ADD in children and adolescents. I lead the ADHD Pathway in Sacramento, including assessment, family therapy, parent education classes, and Parent / Teen Classes for ADHD.
Providers in the Child, Adolescent and Family program are specialists in the mental health problems experienced by children and their families. We provide brief treatment to children, adolescents and families. We involve the family in learning new skills to deal with psychiatric issues. We see people individually, in families or in groups depending upon problems being treated and the developmental needs of the child.
I am also interested in anxiety disorders, especially Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I received through Kaiser, specialized training in this area. I tend to weave humor in with therapy. It seems to relax people. When I am not in the clinic, my hobbies are tennis and reading.
