My Qualifications

I received my doctor of podiatric medicine degree from California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco and completed my internship with Scottsdale Memorial Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona. I am board certified in Podiatric Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and joined the Permanente Medical Group in 1977. I currently serve on the Credentials & Privileges Committee and the Residency Committee.

My Healthcare Practice

Resolving pain or deformity issues are my main practice goals. I knew I wanted to be a doctor from a very early age and I chose this specialty because it gives me satisfaction in knowing I can correct complex foot and ankle deformity.

Receiving Your Healthcare From Kaiser Permanente

The team approach to solving one’s medical needs is highly superior to the old-fashioned solo practitioner style. I can honestly, without reservation, tell you that Kaiser Permanente is the absolute best health plan organization in the world and not just California. DR's make decisions here, not Bureaucrats or Accountants. We make decisions for our patients based on sound treatment plans and without regard for costs. Our main goal is your continued good health and that's the bottom line we are all striving for. I can walk across the hall and get expert advice from any number of specialists.

My Outside Interests

I have three children, two horses, two dogs, three cats, and a very successful, and beautiful wife who is my partner in life. My Wife and I have a committment to our family, church, and community.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
