Welcome to My Home Page!

I am very excited to join Kaiser Permanente here at the Antioch Medical Center (Deer Valley Medical Offices) and am looking forward to meeting all of my patients and their families.

My family and I emigrated to US from Vietnam in 1980 when I was only 10 years old. I grew up in San Francisco and attended Lowell High School in the Sunset District. My interest in medicine and especially pediatrics developed from my personal relationship with my own pediatrician growing up. He took care of me and my younger brothers and sister as if we were his own children. He was gentle and compassionate. He was not only our doctor, but our friend and mentor. He inspired me to become a pediatrician.

I received my BS in Nutrition Sciences at UC Davis, California and from there attended Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago. Being a native Californian and to be closer to my family, I decided to come back to California for my pediatric residency training. I completed my pediatric training at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital in Southern California. After residency, I joined a private pediatric group for three years. We recently moved back home to northern California to be closer to our families in San Francisco.

It is my privilege to be your children’s pediatrician. I love taking care of children and their families because together, we can make a difference in their lives. We can help them learn healthy lifestyle habits that will improve their quality of life. And at Kaiser Permanente, our philosophy and mission is to practice preventative care.

Outside of medicine, I love spending time with family and friends, especially my two year old son. My husband and I enjoy being outdoors and traveling. Personally, I love a good game of tennis.

My Credentials

Medical school Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine Midwestern University, Downers Grove, IL
Residency Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, Loma Linda, CA
Board certification Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
