Welcome To My Home Page!

I am an internist in Downtown San Rafael. This means that I take care of the health needs of adults of all ages. One of my interests within general Internal Medicine is preventative health. This means that I hope to help bring you the tools to not only treat the problems you have, but do everything we can to keep you healthy. Kaiser has many resources for patient’s education. I encourage you to take advantage of the numerous links available to learn more about your health and ways to take care of yourself. I also encourage you to email me with any non-urgent matters. I will try to answer your questions within a few days.

I joined Kaiser in September 2006 after finishing my residency training. I am very excited to be back in the Bay Area after more than 10 years. I love the Bay Area for many reasons including the beautiful nature that surrounds us. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and spending time with my parents and friends.

I know that your time is important, so in order to make the most of your visit, please bring a list of your current medications. Also, make a list of your medical problems and any questions or concerns you want to discuss with me. Please allow a few extra minutes to arrive on time for your appointment so we can make the most of the time I have to spend with you. Generally speaking I'm out of the office most Mondays. Please take this into consideration while planning future visits. I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
