About Me

I grew up in Orange County, California, and went to Missouri and Michigan for my medical training. I am a third-generation family physician who takes pleasure in learning about my patients and the day-to-day rhythm of the clinic. Aside from work, I am happily married and enjoy being active in my church. I also play basketball, golf, and pool.

My Qualifications

During my medical training, I received the “Intern of the Year Award” and was appointed the “Chief Resident.” I am affiliated with the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Christian Medical and Dental Associations. I joined The Permanente Medical Group in 2003.

My Credentials

Medical school Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, MO
Internship St. John Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights, MI
Residency St. John Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights, MI
Board certification Family Practice and Omt, Am Osteo Board of Family Physicians

My Healthcare Practice

As an osteopathic family practitioner, I believe in a partnership between patient and physician to enhance the physical, mental and spiritual wellness in my patient’s life. I value a holistic approach to medicine. I enjoy being a generalist, and I also enjoy the variety of people I meet every day.

Receiving Your Healthcare From Kaiser Permanente

Kaiser Permanente is a medical community that works very hard to provide premier care for their patients. The physicians, nurses, and medical assistants—everyone at Kaiser—all work very hard to create an environment that provides premier medical care. Our goal is to respond quickly to the needs of the patients. You are welcome to make appointments or refill prescriptions online at our Members' Website. You can also contact the call center (916) 973-5243 for appointments or to reach my office.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
