About Me

Western Washington University, BA in Education

Residency
Kaiser Residency in Advanced Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Special Clinical Interests
Orthopedics, Sports Medicine

I began my career with Kaiser in 1988 as a Physical Therapy Resident in Advanced Orthopedic Physical Therapy. In 1990, I moved into my current position as a Clinical Specialist in the Rehabilitation Services Department.

I enjoy working with a diverse patient population, evaluating and treating a wide range of orthopedic and sports medicine injuries and conditions. I am proud to be a Kaiser Permanente provider, surrounded by a dedicated staff in the Rehabilitation Services Department. As a Physical Therapy clinician, I am encouraged and supported by the organization to provide the best possible care for our patients. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy at Temple University. Estimated date of completion will be in the spring of 2009.

When not caring for my patients or involved in my current academic pursuits, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our beautiful young daughter. I “thrive” on my daily workouts and find great benefits in staying physically fit. I am also involved in a wonderful hobby of raising and showing Golden Retrievers.

Thank you for taking the time to read my biography. I look forward to providing your physical therapy care at the Oakland Medical Center.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
