About Me

I have been in the Ob/Gyn department at Kaiser in Oakland since 1992. The combination of clinical care plus surgery in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility really agrees with me. I enjoy teaching resident physicians and have a particular interest in directing the Residency Research Program at Oakland.

I work with several terrific nurses in our fertility clinic including Evelyn Zierten, Emma Haft, Judy Huckabay and Laura Schwab. In addition, Dr. Erica Breneman and Dr. Arlene Cosca assist with the basic fertility treatment and evaluation provided at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland.

The Reproductive Endocrinology clinic in Oakland is one of five currently active subspecialty clinics at Kaiser in Northern California. All of the Reproductive Endocrinologists in the Northern California region work together, consult with each other frequently, and are currently setting up an in vitro fertilization program. The Reproductive Endocrinology clinics in the Northern California Kaiser also work frequently with private providers outside of the Kaiser program.

I feel incredibly lucky to work here as I have wonderful patients, excellent colleagues and the ability to work with patients to make health care decisions without interference.
