My Healthcare Practice

I am a general surgeon covering a wide range of surgical problems. I chose surgery because I found it to be the most gratifying way of helping patients to achieve a healthy active life in the most rapid manner. There is no greater feeling than having a happy and healthy post-surgical patient. I hope to always provide the necessary information to allow my patients to take an active role in decision making.

Why I Choose Kaiser Permanente

I have been with Kaiser Permanente since 2001. In that time I have truly found a team environment which makes practicing medicine more efficient and satisfying. I have never felt restrained in any decision making to provide the best possible care of my patients. Also, there exists at Kaiser numerous readily accessible resources that cover nearly every facet of medicine.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
