About Me

My mission is to play an active role in disease management and most importantly, disease prevention. I strongly believe that a large part of our health and quality of life can be maintained and or improved through moderate changes in our daily routine; including diet and exercise habits.

I became a Registered Dietitian to become part of your healthcare team. I believe that every provider acts as a vital piece of the puzzle that makes up your total healthcare picture. I believe in empowering patients with the knowledge to make life-saving changes.

I chose to become a part of the team at Kaiser Permenente because of Kaiser's belief in health education and the numerous resources Kaiser offers its members. I love the emphasis that is put on health maintenance and disease prevention and I enjoy relaying this message to patients. I believe that life long changes do not happen over night and that small steps will result in the same destination; but with more success.

My interests outside of Kaiser include being a wife and a mother to two extraordinary children. Together we enjoy bike riding, walking, road trips and sunny days at the park. My husband and children motivate me to be a living example of the lifestyle I wish to impart on my patients. I look forward to being a part of your healthcare team.
