WELCOME TO MY HOME PAGE!

I joined the Permanente medical medical group in 1998 because I believe Kaiser provides good, comprehensive medical care with reasonable medical cost. As I gain more clinical experience in medicine, I acknowledge the great contribution of modern medical knowledge and technologies to the vision and I see there is an Art of medicine that is beyond the mere description of skill and tangible technology. Throught the years of practice, I like its approach to disease and its management, that is comprehensive, but not so broad as to lose focus nor narrow as to lose sight of the whole person. I enjoy analyzing situations and processing and interpreting the data. My interpersonal abilities then help me apply whole person care. Sometimes a small, easily unrecognized item can be an invaluable clue to idntifying and solving a problem or preventing a disaster. The art and practice of medicine requires keen eyes and clear decision-making ability. I believe that treating the ill as well as working to solve the fundamental causes of disease in this field is rewarding and provides continual challange. I have learned also the importance of time-efficient and cost-effective health delivery as there is a more awakening in the medical system.

I am married and have three children. I enjoy gardening and listening to the classical music (all my children play the piano). My favorite sport is tennis.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
