My Qualifications

After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Master's Degree in Administration, I joined J.J.M. Medical School at Davengere, India. I finished my studies and did one year internship in Punjab, India. In addition to regular work, I also volunteered in local Red Cross Camps, where homeless families and children were provided free medical care and check ups.

I moved to the United States in 1997 and did research on the effects of growth factors on Peptic Ulcers at UC Irvine. I then spent a year doing clinical research on newly released blood pressure medications at the University of Southern California.

In 1999, I joined the residency program at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan where I became Board Certified in Internal Medicine. After finishing residency, my wife and I decided to move back to California to enjoy the mild climate and spend more time with our extended family.

I began looking for an Internist position, which would allow me to spend more time with patients while placing an emphasis on disease prevention and management rather than insurance issues. Kaiser Permanente gave me that opportunity.

I am happily married with two lovely children. When we have some spare time together, we enjoy traveling to National & State Parks and playing tennis and chess.

I work Monday through Fridays. Besides English, I am fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu. I look forward to having a productive and meaningful relationship with my patients, in which their well-being always comes first.
