My Profession

Greetings from the Radiology Department! My name is Dr. Gerald Schwarz and I am a Diagnostic Radiologist. I interpret the imaging studies your doctor orders. These include plain x-rays, mammograms, computerized tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Your doctor also consults with me to determine the correct imaging study to assist in your diagnosis. I am your physician's consultant. If you have any questions about the results of your radiologic studies, please contact the physician who ordered the study.

Advances in computer technology have revolutionized Radiology. I have a special interest in computer applications in imaging.
