My Qualifications

I am from Caracas, Venezuela. My first six years of medical education were completed at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Then, I relocated to The United States to continue my studies. I did research at Stanford University and then completed a 3-year residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In April 1999, I joined Kaiser Permanente. I am board certified in Internal Medicine, which means that I have completed the necessary training and examinations as required by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Additionally, I continue on-going medical education as required by the medical boards. Besides practicing medicine, I enjoy playing with my dog, jogging, and playing tennis.

In general, I see patients 5 days a week at Fairfield. At times, I may be out of the office when I am working in the hospital in Vallejo or working in Vacaville doing sigmoidoscopies. Besides English, I am also fluent in Spanish and Catalan.
