I am a general adult psychiatrist with the Milpitas Psychiatry Department. I received my undergraduate degree from Barnard College, NYC in 1990 and my medical degree from SUNY-Health Science Center at Syracuse, NY in 1995. I completed residency training in 1999 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. From 1999-2001, I worked as an attending who led a multidisciplinary team in an acute inpatient unit at the Belmont Center for Comprehensive Treatment in Philadelphia.

I moved to the bay area in 2001 and have been with Kaiser Milpitas since. My clinical practice mainly consists of outpatient psychiatric evaluations, medication follow-up, and medication consultation from therapists.

Outside of work, I enjoy a variety of activities/interests including: traveling, singing, playing piano, and just spending time with my family.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
