Welcome to My Home Page !

I was born and raised in Ethiopia, where I received my medical education. I completed a one-year preliminary surgery rotation at Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine New York Medical College, St Vincent's campus in Staten Island New York. In addition to practicing medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and listening to music.

Practice Philosophy

I have been with Kaiser Permanente in Fresno since September 2002. It's a privilege to serve with such a diverse group of patients at Kaiser Permanente. Kaiser Permanente as a multi-speciality group provides excellent sevice to members. Having advanced information technology at Kaiser Permanente also helps health care workers provide good quality of care. I enjoy working with the staff at Kaiser Permanente; not only are the staff excellent in their work, but they are also compassionate and caring. I believe communication is the key to a healthy relationship. The human touch is also important. My goal is to help you, my patients to the maximum of my ability.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
