Welcome to My Practice
Thank you for taking the time to visit my clinic office today.
Cardiology is an ever-expanding field of medicine. Over the past several years, my practice has become focused on diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease in both the inpatient and outpatient areas.
In addition to my practice in a clinical setting, my practice includes both angiogram and angioplasty procedures as well.
My Background
I graduated from Rush Medical College in Chicago in 1981. I completed my internship and residency at Jewish Hospital/Washington University in St. Louis in 1984. The next year I was Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. I then finished my training at Mount Zion Hospital, which was an affiliate of University of California/San Francisco, in 1988.
After training in Chicago, Saint Louis and San Francisco, I joined the Permanente Medical Group in 1988. My clinic is located in the 2 north building on the 2nd floor.
I am board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology.
My Philosophy
My practice philosophy is to educate patients about their condition so they can make an informed choice regarding their treatment options. I also expect my patients to be active participants in this process.
My Interests
I take a professional interest in making every effort to ensure that at each visit you are given current recommendations and are informed as to the best treatment options possible.
My personal interests include spending time with my two daughters.
My Recommendations
Many people will develop cardiac conditions during ones' lifetime. Leading a healthy lifestyle is important to living well. Most cardiac conditions can be effectively managed by a combination of nutritional attention, exercise, weight management, medication and a healthy outlook.
