I've created this home page to help you know a bit more about me. Please follow the links to see more great resources for healthcare.

I'm originally from New York, and moved to the Bay Area 15 years ago. I have been a social worker for that long as well, working with families in hospitals, health clinics, and community programs. My focus is often on empowering people to improve their lives and to assist them in finding balance during difficult and stressful times.

I joined the Kaiser Oakland Ob/Gyn Department in 2005. I thoroughly enjoy the work I do with pregnant women and their families. I feel the support, resources and education we provide encourages women to have healthy pregnancies and babies. It is always inspiring to watch motivated changes take place in women's lives as they prepare for a big transition.

I am working part time these days in order to care for my two young and vibrant daughters. They keep me very busy and in the moment. Together we enjoy travelling to many of the naturally beautiful wonders of the West Coast, camping, hiking, swimming, singing, and eating great organic food.
