About Me
In medical school, I found patient care very rewarding. However, I quickly learned that I could make my biggest impact on the diagnostic side of medicine. In Pathology, I analyze body tissues and fluids in order to diagnose disease. An accurate diagnosis directly impacts patients, as it is crucial in developing a successful treatment plan.
As a pathologist, I interact with physicians from a wide range of specialties and backgrounds. Through this team approach, I am able to put pieces of the puzzle together to come up with an accurate diagnosis. The Kaiser facilities in Oakland and Richmond give me a chance to work with outstanding physicians in an exciting, dynamic setting. I enjoy all aspects of surgical pathology and my particular areas of interest include gynecologic and gastrointestinal pathology.
I moved to the Bay area in 2003 and have fallen in love with this beautiful area and all it has to offer. In my free time, I enjoy music, dancing, cooking, and many other activities. Kaiser Permanente is a place that allows me to thrive professionally and personally.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
