My Practice

I selected my specialty of Internal Medicine because it encompasses the whole aspect of providing medical care for an adult. In my specialty, I am able to become involved in the daily aspects of a person's health and I enjoy having the opportunity to help our patients improve their wellbeing. Being a primary care physician allows me to be an active partner in helping to improve a patient's health.

Working with Kaiser Permanente allows me the freedom to provide medical care in the way that I feel is in the best interest of my patients. My practice philosophy is to try to involve my patients in taking an active role in improving their own health, by emphasizing the importance of taking care of any existing health conditions, the value of exercise, the benefits of adopting healthier lifestyles, and even the importance of stress management. I believe that our patients are their own best health care providers. As a physician, my role is to help my patients get the best medical advice, care and assistance they can receive. Working for Kaiser Permanente provides a great opportunity for me to do this.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
