Welcome to My Internet Home Page

I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente Central Valley. Together, with my healthcare team, I can always provide the highest possible quality of care and service to you.

About Me

My goal in life is to care for others. Because of this passion, I found medical school. I graduated in 1990 and finished an excellent residency training program from Capital Health System, which prepared me to deliver high quality care to improve quality of life.

The dream of my practice is to deliver highly efficient preventive care, acute care and continued care. To fulfill my dream, I chose The Permanente Medical Group, a prestigious health care organization. Since I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1999, my dream has become a reality. I am committed to serve your health care needs with compassion and the highest possible quality medical care.

My personal interests include traveling, golfing and working with less fortunate people.

My Philosophy of Care

My philosophy to medical care is that quality of life is as important as life expectancy. Patients deserve care for both aspects.

Let me introduce you to my team as well. I am privileged to work with a highly skilled group of health care professionals, all of whom are located at my unit. Depending on your needs, I call upon my colleagues to assist and advise me on delivering to you the best medical care possible. Besides other physicians, my team members include registered nurses that provide care for minor illnesses such as bronchitis, sore throats, ear and eye infections, bladder infections and flu symptoms. I also work with a physical therapist who can help with muscle and bone problems, as well as a health educator who will provide you with direct health education, information and counseling for conditions such as weight management, exercise, diet, diabetes care, and smoking cessation. Together, we will help you thrive.

Select a personal physician - An important part of your health care experience at Kaiser Permanente includes building a relationship with your personal physician. If you haven't already selected one or want to change, click here to choose a personal physician for yourself or for a family member.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
