My Healthcare Practice

As a surgeon limited to the upper extremity, I do mainly hand surgery and am especially interested in arthritis and congenital reconstruction. I chose the field of hand surgery because it is one of the more technologically challenging fields of surgery and good results depend on close cooperation of patient, surgeon and therapist to achieve good function in all the types of tissue that are involved.

My Outside Interests

I enjoy recreational and competitive rowing. I sail, flyfish and enjoy traveling.

As a commercial pilot, I do volunteer medical flight for Angel Flight, Inc., transporting nearby medical patients for medical care.
