Welcome to the Genetics Multi-Specialty Clinicc at Oakland Kaiser!

I became a nurse later in life, after working as an icebreaker sailor in the U.S. Coast Guard, as a chemistry lab technician, as a student of philosophy, and as a carpenter. Before coming to Kaiser’s Regional Spina Bifida Program, I worked for six years at Children’s Hospital in Oakland on the Pediatric Rehabilitation and Burn Units, and for one year as a case manager at California Children Services in Alameda County. When I am not working, I enjoy home repair projects, outdoor activities, and reading science fiction.
