About Me

The culmination of my Emergency Medicine training took place while I was Chief Resident at Detroit Receiving Hospital. While there, I enjoyed administrative and academic roles while continuing to serve patients in the clinical milieu. After living in a variety of settings through my training, my family decided to return to California and join the team at Kaiser Permanente. When I am not at work, I remain dedicated to doing what I enjoy most: spending time with my family and friends, whether at home or traveling.

Thank you for your interest and taking the time to learn more about me and the Department of Emergency Medicine at Kaiser Permanente. Be assured that we are doing our best to provide you with comprehensive and efficient care, as well as timely follow-up and referrals to your personal physician or other specialists. Our entire department wants to be certain that all of your concerns and needs are addressed. As such, you will find a number of links to clinical information as well as a link to the websites of other members in my department on this page.

Be sure to visit the Kaiser Permanente Website for additional information regarding appointments, prescriptions, health education classes and other health-related topics. You can also click on my department link above to receive additional health information.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
