My Specialty and Why I Chose It

Hello and welcome to my website. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1992 and have been in the outpatient clinic treating musculoskeletal problems ever since. Over the years I have treated patients in different settings but prefer the outpatient clinic because it offers a variety of treatment regimes including hands-on care, exercise and education.

Why I Like Practicing Medicine at Kaiser Permanente

Before coming to Kaiser I worked in San Diego, Los Angeles, the Bay Area and overseas. I returned to the Sacramento area to be closer to family and I chose Kaiser because I had good experiences when I worked for them in other cities. The staff was always friendly and helpful and I learned different techniques and treatment options from them and that continues today.

My Practice Philosophy

Over the years I have learned that patients who take an active part in their recovery along with treatment from the therapist, whether following good body mechanics, exercising everyday or making needed adjustments to everyday life, recover quicker. Investing time daily in your overall health can prevent problems from reoccurring.

On a Personal Note. . .

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, scrap booking and traveling. I look forward to meeting you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
