Welcome to my home page. I hope that through this medium I will be able to better serve you with the most current information.

I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente Central Valley. I hope that we can always provide the highest possible quality of care and service to you.

About Me

I graduated medical school at the De La Salle University School of Medicine at the Philippines. I started my Pediatric residency training for one and a half years in the Philippines before I decided to come to this country. I completed my Pediatric residency at Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York City, NY. After graduation, I worked as part of the faculty at the Emergency Room Department at Metropolitan Hospital Center. After experiencing two blizzards in a row in New York, I decided to come back to California where I initially resided for one year after coming from the Philippines.

I worked as Pediatrician and member of faculty of the San Joaquin General Hospital for eight and a half years. The experience taught me not only the clinical aspect of medicine but the academics as well. I enjoyed teaching the residents as they would do their pediatric rotation.

I joined The Permanente Medical Group in January 2002. It was after talking with some residents who I worked with in the County Hospital that introduced me to this outstanding medical group. I am happy to be a part of this organization, which offers high quality medical care and service.

When I am not practicing medicine, I enjoy shopping, watching TV, tennis and reading fashion magazines. I also enjoy traveling with my husband, who is also a pediatrician. Our Travel has brought us to many places as you can see in some of the pictures in this home page. One of the hobbies that I really enjoy is doing bead jewelry. I usually wear the jewelry that I made when I am in clinic. My dream is to have a boutique where I can showcase my creations.

My Philosophy of Care

I believe that medical care involves a partnership between physician and parents to guide their child in growing into a healthy adult. Being a doctor takes much more than simply learning the science – it takes heart, commitment and dedication.

I hope that this medium will provide you with the most current information. Please feel free to browse my home page and various links to the left of this page.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
