I was born and raised in the Philippines, and I have a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Santo Tomas. I came to the United States immediately after completing my physical therapy education and licensing in the Phillipines. That meant taking more board licensing examinations, first in New Jersey and New York and then in California!

My experience is varied, including outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, geriatric inpatient rehabilitation, and rehabilitation director at the Forum in Cupertino.

I joined the staff at Kaiser Santa Clara in December 2000. I feel fortunate to have colleagues and mentors here who support my quest for career advancement. I love working with people, and I enjoy helping my patients achieve their maximum functional independence.

I am currently treating both inpatients and outpatients here, and I am developing a specialty in stroke rehabilitation. To advance my knowledge and skills, I am taking continuing education in neurological rehabilitation and was certified as a strength-training specialist in 2001.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
