Welcome to the Genetics Multi-Specialty Clinics at Oakland Kaiser!

About Me

I received my Bachelor’s degree from UC Davis and my Master’s in Nursing from San Francisco State University. I joined the Genetics Department at Kaiser, Oakland in 1999, and am currently the Nurse Coordinator for the Skeletal Dysplasia Clinic. My special interests include child development, family dynamics, and the emotional/social aspects of managing chronic conditions. I am also studying acupressure and alternative medicine.

Outside of work, my interests include Spanish, nutrition, and environmental concerns. My working philosophy can summed up in this quote from educator and civil rights leader Benjamin E. Mays (1895-1984): "We make our living by what we get, but we make our life by what we give."
