About Me
I was born in Southern California and moved to Sacramento in the ‘70’s. I graduated from Rio Hondo College in the Psychiatric Technician Nursing program in 1978 and obtained LPT the same year. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals with both adults and children.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Social Science with concentration in Psychology and Anthropology in 1992. I continued to work in psychiatry. I graduated from Professional School of Psychology with Master of Arts in Psychology in 1998. I came to work at Kaiser Permanente in 2000 where I currently work in the Depression Pathway.
Depression Pathway is a coordinated, multidisciplinary depression treatment program emphasizing group therapy that is based primarily on the cognitive behavioral therapy model. The program includes group therapy, medication management, brief individual therapy and education for the early identification and treatment of unipolar depression.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading, traveling and yoga.
