About Me

I am originally from San Diego, California and for my undergraduate education, I attended the University of California at Santa Barbara. There I received a bachelor’s of science degree in Physiology. Prior to my physician assistant education, I contributed as a peer health educator and as an EMT. I then spent two years as a medical assistant in Endocrinology and Pediatrics at a multi-specialty group practice. I really enjoy working with children and their families, with their health at various stages in their development. In furthering my clinical skills, I attended Samuel Merritt College, a health professions school, in Oakland, CA. I received a Master Physician Assistant degree, having completed a two-and-a-half year program of didactic coursework with nine clinical rotations. My experience and my special interests are in neurosurgical and pediatric medicine. My outside interests are spending time outdoors, traveling, movies, and spending time with family and friends.

I look forward to seeing you and your family in the clinic soon. To find out more about the Physician Assistant profession and their role in the care experience, please visit the American Academy of Physician Assistants or the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants websites at:

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
