My Credentials

Residency UC San Francisco, San Francisco, CA

Welcome to My Homepage

I am thrilled to join Kaiser Oakland in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I joined Kaiser to focus on practicing medicine instead of on running a business. My practice is dedicated to your health and wellness through preventive medicine and a healthy lifestyle.

About me

I grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii where sunshine, endless beaches and a diversity of friends and family taught me to live the Aloha spirit. For college, I moved to a cloudier New Haven where I studied fine arts at Yale.

After college, I studied and worked in women’s health in Japan and San Francisco. I focused on breast health education and elder care. I returned to the sunshine of UCLA for medical school and completed residency at UCSF.

I chose to specialize in Obstetrics and Gynecology because of my lifelong interest in women’s health. It is a privilege to care for women throughout their life span. I’ve shared in many joyous moments, and helped women and families through difficult times. With each experience, I learn as much from my patients as they do from me. As your physician, I promise to be a good listener and to communicate my decision-making to you.

I live in San Francisco with my husband and son. I learned a lot in school and whole lot as a patient who delivered my own baby recently. As your doctor, I’ll provide the excellent care I expect for myself and my family.

Outside of the office, I enjoy running, painting, traveling and spending as much time as possible with my son and husband.

I look forward to meeting you!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
