My Specialty and Why I Chose It

I am a family medicine physician. This means I have been trained in all aspects of primary care medicine. I decided to choose this specialty since it allowed me the freedom to study and practice all types of medicine without limiting myself to one specialty.

My Practice Philosophy

I would describe my practice philosophy as being a member of my patients’ healthcare team effort. I feel it is very important for my patients to know they play the most important role in their own health care. Through open channels of communication we can work together to achieve all of our patients’ goals.

My Tenure With Kaiser Permanente

I have been with Kaiser Permanente since 2008. Kaiser Permanente has the most patient centered philosophy I have seen in a large group practice. Their focus is to allow their physicians to treat their patients to the best of their ability.

On a Personal Note

I am married with four daughters. My outside interests include bowling, golf and fishing.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
