As a Women's Health Specialist, I provide a complete spectrum of OB/GYN services...from paps, pills, and pregnancy, to postmenopause, prolapse and pessaries.

WHAT I AM

Being an OB/GYN, I specialize in treating "female problems." That means I deal with teen health, contraception, pregnancies, infertility, menstrual cycle issues,and menopause. Occasionally, surgery is warranted and if so, I am trained in the most advanced, minimally invasive procedures which will ensure the best outcome with the shortest recovery.

WHY I AM

I am privileged in that I get to be a part of what is undeniably one of life's most exhilirating and amazing events - the birth of a child. I also enjoy the technical skills required to perform surgery, which is a big part of why I am here at Kaiser.

I am excited to have joined KP this year, after being in private practice in the Napa Valley for 12 years. The demands and time away from home became too great. Kaiser attracted me with their philosophy in which the patients' and providers' well-being come first. Being a physician here allow me the freedom and the ablity to practice in the patients' best interest, without regard to financial incentives,or insurance company oversight.

Additionally, I benefit tremendously from the resources not commonly available in the private practice sector, including a sophisticated information technology system,access to cutting edge equipment, and the ability to instantly tap the wealth of knowledge from my large group of highly trained colleagues.

WHAT I WILL BE

I plan on being your OB/GYN for life, and providing the best care possible. While I feel that I am well trained, I do not know every thing. However, if I am not able to answer a question, I will research the subject until a satisfactory response is found.

My goal is to use my knowledge and training to educate you, present the options available, so that, together we can decide what is best for YOU.
