Welcome to my home page. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2003.

I hope that through this medium I will be able to better serve you with the most current information.

I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente Central Valley. I hope that we can always provide the highest possible quality of care and service to you.

I was born in Milwaukee, WI, but raised most of my life in Southern California, in Long Beach and Palos Verdes. My parents are both doctors, who strongly influenced my decision to pursue medicine as a career. Through them I saw how personally rewarding medicine is, not only by healing illness, but also by being able to make a difference in someone’s life.

After completing my Family Practice residency in Upper Michigan, I was very excited to move back to California and to work for Kaiser Permanente. In fact, I’ve always wanted to work for Kaiser Permanente since I was a little boy. My father was a Kaiser Permanente Pediatrician in Southern California for 29 years, so I grew up receiving my healthcare in the Kaiser Permanente system, and am familiar with Kaiser Permanente’s commitment to providing the best possible care for its members. I actually remember when I broke my arm falling off of a skateboard when I was nine years old. The emergency room doctor at the Kaiser Permanente hospital in Bellflower, CA, reset my arm and put a cast on it. I recall how nice and gentle he was with me, even though I was screaming in pain! Well, my mom took away the skateboard, but I came away with a great experience from Kaiser Permanente.

I look forward to meeting you in the clinic, and I hope that you too will come away with a great experience.

My philosophy of care is to provide knowledge and promote awareness so that patients can make informed decisions about their health.

Languages: A little bit of Tagalog, a little bit of Spanish, but pretty much English. Maybe we can practice?

Hobbies and interests: Working out at the gym, watching sports, especially Lakers basketball, and listening to music. My guilty pleasures are video games, cars, and reality TV shows.

Select a personal physician - An important part of your health care experience at Kaiser Permanente includes building a relationship with your personal physician. If you haven't already selected one or want to change, click here to choose a personal physician for yourself or for a family member.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
